The grand parade of the Limassol Carnival has burst into life, marking the peak of this year’s celebrations with colour, music and boundless energy. Thousands of revellers in imaginative costumes and striking floats have already flooded the route, turning the city centre — particularly Makariou Avenue — into one vast street party.
Spectators of all ages lined the parade route from early afternoon, creating a vibrant, pulsating backdrop filled with smiles and anticipation.
