The Nicosia CID and the Customs Department conducted a coordinated operation today on the basis of a court warrant in various areas and vehicles in Nicosia.
During the search, a very big quantity of duty-free cigarettes and tobacco was found in a warehouse belonging to a 66-year-old and a 58-year-old. The cigarettes were confiscated and the two men have been arrested.
The Customs Department will further investigate the case.
