Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza is imminent after the expiry of another ultimatum to remove civilians from the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had announced that they would allow a humanitarian corridor in the southern Gaza Strip, stating that they would not attack the greater Salah al–Din Road area from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time (and local time), as reported by the Jerusalem Post.
The toll so far in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is 2,383 Palestinians dead, with 10,814 wounded, according to sources in the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
In this context, images of Israeli armored personnel carriers (APCs) currently heading towards the Gaza Strip border in southern Israel are appearing on social media. Hundreds of thousands of Gazans are currently trying to evacuate northern Gaza ahead of Israel’s imminent ground offensive.
Israeli forces, backed by a growing deployment of US warships in the region, have been positioned along the Gaza border for an air, land, and sea campaign, Israel said, aimed at dismantling the militant group.
