Isolated showers and thin dust expected today

Cyprus will see mostly clear skies today before clouds gather to bring possible isolated showers, mainly in the mountains and northern areas.

Light dust may also hang in the atmosphere but should clear by the evening, according to the Meteorological Service. Winds will start from the northwest and northeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, occasionally reaching 5 Beaufort, before shifting to the southwest and northwest later in the day. The sea will remain slightly rough.

Temperatures are expected to reach 22°C inland and across the southern and eastern coasts. The western and northern coasts will see highs of 21°C, while temperatures in the higher mountains will reach 13°C.

Clouds will increase tonight, with a chance of isolated rain in the west and north. Winds will remain light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will stay slightly rough.
