Global air travel remains severely disrupted following the war in Iran, with major hubs including Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi closed and tens of thousands of passengers stranded worldwide, Reuters reported.
Cyprus is directly affected, with cancellations continuing at Larnaca airport. According to Hermes Airports, which manages Cyprus’s airports, 26 arrivals and 25 departures have been cancelled on Tuesday between 7 am and midnight.
Flights to and from the Middle East — particularly Israel — have been cancelled, as have services from Germany, the UK and Austria, which began seeing cancellations on Monday.
Hermes Airports is advising passengers to contact their airline or travel agent before heading to the airport.
