Inflation affects cost of dining, entertainment and hotels

Rising costs from raw materials to energy are not only affecting product prices on supermarket shelves but also impacting the cost of dining out at restaurants, cafes, and, in general, fast food and take-away services.

The surge in expenses for dining out is not a new phenomenon but has intensified this year following consecutive increases in 2022 and 2021.

Statistical data from the Statistical Service reveals the extent to which prices have risen, making it challenging for individuals and families to enjoy activities that were once more affordable.

The escalating costs have become a topic of discussion among consumers, particularly as it restricts outings, especially for families.
