Iconic Nicosia hotel joins Marriot-owned collection [VIDEO]

The Landmark Nicosia Hotel will join Autograph Collection Hotels, following an agreement with Marriott International, Inc.

According to a company press release, the hotel will reopen its doors as “The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection” towards the end of 2024, becoming the first property in Cyprus to join the international hospitality chain.

Charis Michael, CEO of MHV said “We are proud and delighted with the extension of our already successful collaboration with Marriott International. Currently in Limassol with Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, and soon with The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection. It is an important agreement, which reflects the prestige and the wide scope of this entire project, expected to be a true gem for Nicosia and Cyprus as a whole.”

The hotel’s renovation is just one facet of the ambitious The Landmark Nicosia development project. The endeavour also includes the construction of two spectacular towers in the hotel’s surroundings (offices and residences), the development of underground parking facilities, and the revival of the adjacent park.

“The iconic hotel, a true landmark of Nicosia, embraces a refined design, transitioning into a holistic well-being destination while respecting its glorious history,” the press release writes.

Guests can anticipate an array of sophisticated accommodation options alongside amenities such as two outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, a signature pool bar, gardens, tennis courts, a fully equipped gym, a state-of-the-art spa, two renowned signature restaurants, and high-end retail outlets.

“The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection draws from its former charm and evolves into a destination that will offer unforgettable experiences to both locals and international visitors, evoking a unique sense of place and reclaims its central place in Nicosia’s business, and social scene,” the announcement concludes.
