Hit and run in Nicosia as driver abandons cyclist

A cyclist was abandoned at the scene of an accident in Nicosia, with the driver of the vehicle speeding away.

It happened in the early hours, when under as yet unidentified circumstances, the cyclist was hit by the car, with the driver being sought, after leaving the area.

The cyclist is being treated at the Nicosia General, as police are investigating yet another serious accident.
