Gunshots were fired shortly before midnight at a building housing a financial company in the Strovolos area of Nicosia. Police have cordoned off the scene and are conducting examinations.
According to the Police, shell casings were found at the location, which reinforces the assessment that the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators opened fire on the building.
Detectives from the Nicosia CID are searching for both the individuals behind the incident and their motive. Surveillance cameras in the area are expected to play a significant role in the investigation.
