Greek politician Fofi Gennimata dies

Motion for Change (KINAL) chief Fofi Gennimata died on Monday at Evangelismos hospital in Athens on the age of 57. Gennimata, daughter of Greek politician and minister at PASOK authorities Giorgos Gennimatas, was a mom of three kids.

On October 11 she was admitted to the Athens’ Evangelismos Hospital and introduced that she was pulling out of December’s electoral race for the occasion management following the deterioration of her well being.

“The deterioration of my well being that calls for hospitalization and administration obliges me to finish my electoral run as candidate for the presidency of the Motion of Change,” she mentioned in an announcement.

Gennimata was elected MP for the primary time with the PASOK poll In April 2000.
