Five-month-old baby in serious condition after Paphos crash involving two families

A five-month-old baby is in serious condition following a traffic collision in Paphos on Friday morning that injured six people from two families.

The crash occurred around 8.30am on Tasou Papanastasiou Street in Geroskipou when a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old woman collided with a car carrying a family of four, police said.

The second vehicle was driven by a 48-year-old man with his 33-year-old wife and their two young daughters, aged three years and five months, in the back seat.

All six people involved sustained injuries and were taken by ambulance to Paphos hospital. The five-month-old infant was subsequently transferred to Makarios Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

The circumstances of the collision remain under investigation by Paphos Traffic Police.
