Fashionable painter Alekos Fassianos, certainly one of Greece‘s most well-known artists, died on the age of 86 on Sunday after an extended sickness, native media reported.
A graduate of the Athens Academy of High quality Arts, he moved to Paris in 1960 to check lithography the place he met a number of artists and writers.
Influenced by summary artwork, Fassianos adopted a private anthropocentric type. His work had been exhibited world wide, together with in Paris, London, Tokyo and New York, and he was given awards by the French and Russian governments.
