Dust expected from Tuesday as temperatures rise above average

A weak high-pressure system is affecting the area, with light dust expected to be suspended in the atmosphere from Tuesday.

Weather conditions on Monday will be mostly clear, although periods of increased cloud cover are expected. Winds will be mainly south-easterly to south-westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while the sea will be slight.

Temperatures will reach around 23°C inland and along the south and east coasts, about 21°C in the west and north, and 14°C in higher mountainous areas.

Overnight, conditions will remain mostly clear. Winds will shift to north-westerly to north-easterly, and south-easterly along the northern coast, remaining light at around 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slight.

Temperatures will drop to 9°C inland, around 11°C on the coast, and 5°C in the higher mountains.

From Tuesday through Thursday, the weather will remain mostly clear, with intervals of increased high cloud.

Temperatures are expected to rise steadily, moving above average climatic values.
