A driver crashed into barriers after losing control of his vehicle on the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway on Wednesday afternoon, causing heavy traffic in the area.
The crash occurred at Pera Chorio level towards Larnaca when the driver lost control and struck the barriers, according to police.
Police officers rushed to the scene along with an ambulance, which transported the driver to hospital for examinations.
Heavy traffic is being observed in the area.
