Cyprus ranks high among EU countries in its crypto-friendly rank-Eurobarometer

Cyprus ranks high among EU countries in its crypto-friendly rank and hits an investment figure of 13%, according to latest data from the European Commission’s Eurobarometer.

Topping the list is Slovenia, considered by some the most crypto-friendly nation in the world, with 18% of the country’s population having some sort of investment in it.

Cyprus is ranked fifth with the same data also showing that wealthier and more developed EU nations tend to have lower levels of crypto investment.

In fact, investors from different EU countries seem to have contrasting views when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Countries with lower levels of crypto investment include Malta and Sweden where just 10% of the population is friendly towards it.

Crypto is even less popular in countries such as Belgium, Germany, Italy – with only 6% of the population investing in it.  And France is the EU’s most negative on crypto investments with just 5%.

Financial experts say Crypto has experienced bubble-like asset rallies, including a dramatic rise to over a trillion dollars in value before crashing.
