A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured when the vehicle he was driving rolled over on a rural road in Athienou around 10:45 a.m. this morning.
According to police, the incident occurred when the minor lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The 14-year-old was initially taken by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital. Doctors determined he had suffered a cranial-cerebral injury and, due to the seriousness of his condition, he is expected to be transferred to Nicosia General Hospital.
Police are continuing investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
