Average gross monthly wages for employees in Cyprus rose 5.4% annually in the first quarter of 2025, reaching €2,509 compared to €2,382 in the corresponding period of 2024, according to preliminary data published by the Statistics Service.
In seasonally adjusted terms, wages increased 1.4% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, indicating a positive trend in labour market earnings development.
Men’s average gross monthly wages reached €2,689, representing a 5.2% annual increase, whilst women’s wages stood at €2,284, rising 5.5% compared to the first quarter of the previous year.
