ATM services disrupted across Cyprus after JCC system problem

Bank customers faced disruption at ATMs across Cyprus today after a technical problem prevented transactions from processing, causing queues to form outside branches.

The automated teller machines stopped carrying out transactions due to an issue with JCC Payment Systems, according to information received by Philenews.

JCC confirmed the problem when contacted by Philenews, saying services were affected for a few minutes before being resolved following technical interventions.

The company did not specify what caused the disruption or provide exact timing for when services were restored.
