The Labour Ministry firstly launched the social insurance office’s digital service for receiving childbirth aid and now unemployment benefits will also be granted without the need for paper work.
Applications for much-needed unemployment benefits will be able to be submitted electronically before the end of this month, Philenews reported on Monday citing insiders.
And for a short time it is expected that the possibility of submitting an application in paper form will also be possible.
For the unemployment benefit, the process today is essentially a hybrid one since registration with the Public Employment Service (PSE) of the relevant department is done electronically – via email.
The registration of the unemployed in the Service is a pre-requisite for submitting an application for unemployment benefits, as well as the renewal of a job application that must be done almost every month.
But it will no longer be necessary to go to district employment offices.
The Deputy Ministry for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy is in cooperation with the Ministry to achieve best results in modernizing essential services.
