A small dog abandoned at a bus stop in Limassol with its belongings and a small amount of food has found a new family after a passer-by and volunteers from Lost Paws Dog Rescue stepped in.
According to a post by the volunteer organisation, the dog’s owners left it at the bus stop and did not return. Video footage shows the dog remaining motionless in the same spot, looking left and right as it waited. A woman took in the dog until Lost Paws volunteers arrived. Supporters of the organisation raised the funds needed for veterinary care, including vaccinations.
The dog has since been adopted and, according to Lost Paws, is now happy with its new family.
