Cyprus Police carried out 2,729 checks within the final 24 hours for COVID violations throughout which 23 residents and 9 homeowners of institutions have been fined.
Police press workplace mentioned that in Nicosia 1,125 checks have been carried out and 1 institution and three residents have been fined, in Limassol in 266 checks the Police fined 6 institutions and 4 residents and in Larnaka 1 institution was fined in a complete of 494 checks.
In Famagusta 388 checks have been carried out and seven residents have been fined, in Paphos in 135 checks 1 institution and 6 residents have been handed fines and in Morphou 3 residents have been fined in 203 checks.
The Site visitors Division made 118 checks and no effective was issued.
In Nicosia the best effective was 1,500 and was issued as a result of the institution allowed clients to bounce and the dance ground was crowded. In Limassol fines have been issued for meals institutions and in Paphos as a result of the place was not checking for safepass. In Larnaka a effective was issued as a result of clients got drinks on the bar.
