Police fined 18 people and two institution house owners within the final 24 hours for violation of COVID-19 measures.
A Police spokesperson informed CNA on Wednesday {that a} whole of two,417 checks have been carried out within the government-controlled areas within the final 24 hours with 1,205 checks in Nicosia and 6 residents reported. In Limassol, after 192 checks 5 individuals have been reported and one store proprietor, in Larnaca two individuals have been fined and one institution proprietor whereas in Famagusta after 291 checks 5 individuals have been fined. In Morphou and Paphos no fines have been issued.
The Site visitors and Port & Marine Police additionally carried out a complete of 185 checks with no fines issued.
