So many people visited the Christmas village in Fikardou on Sunday afternoon that police announced they had to change traffic arrangements.
As a result, entry to the village was only possible from Klirou, while those leaving had to go via Lofou.
The village is host to one of seven Christmas villages set up around the island this year to attract people to rural places.
The villages will run until January 7 offering food, drink and entertainment with a Christmas spirit.
