Charming Kato Drys to host Traditional Food Festival

In the southwestern region of Larnaca lies the picturesque village of Kato Drys. This quaint village is nestled between three towns, just 50 kilometres from the capital city and a mere 36 kilometres from both Larnaca and Limassol.

Within this village, there are many sights and activities to explore, especially if you happen to visit on Sunday, October 15. On that day, Kato Drys will be hosting a delightful food festival dedicated to our traditional delicacies!

The festival will feature a mouthwatering array of local dishes, including palouzes, trahanas, tremythopitta, carob syrup, soushioukkos, as well as zivania.

Furthermore, as part of the festival, guided tours of the village’s traditional core, and visits to agrotourism spots, churches, museums, and a winery will be available.

Additionally, there will be tastings of traditional dishes, allowing attendees to savour the rich culinary heritage of the region.

The event will conclude with a programme of traditional dances, adding a vibrant cultural touch to this exciting celebration.
