“Community bonding is central to human happiness and wellbeing,” say the organisers of an upcoming Paphos event. “Let’s come together to have fun and celebrate life consciously through dance and music.”
That is exactly what will happen in Mesogi, Paphos on May 27 as the Bliss Out Dance event takes place. The evening event will commence at 6.30pm and will include live DJ sets as well as music, singing and dancing and most importantly, bonding. Dance Into Bliss will be “an immersive experience to feel naturally high and connect with the conscious community,” as organisers say.
On the decks providing the music will be DJ Uriel Cohen, well-known for been mixing eclectic tribal dance music. His intention is to support embodiment and allow healing through movement and sound. Originally from Tel Aviv, Uriel lived in several countries including Germany and in the last three years he has been travelling with no fixed base. Adding to the music entertainment of the evening will be Odysseas playing the drums and percussions.
Singing and gongs are also part of the programme led by yoga teacher, artist, aromatherapist and sound bath therapist Dora. All throughout the event, participants will be encouraged to move their bodies and free-flow dance to connect within and with the community.
The event will last until 9pm yet doors will close at 6.45pm when the event will begin at Beatz Dance School. The early bird tickets costs €20 and are on sale until May 18, after that, entrance will cost €30.
