Mystery over body found in Strovolos field early on Saturday

A body, possibly belonging to a man, was found early on Saturday in a field at the Nicosia suburb of Strovolos.

Police said the body was spotted around 6:00 am with members of the Force immediately rushing to the scene for examinations.

A few hours later police said foul play was not suspected and that they were currently in the process of identifying the deceased person.

And that when this was completed, more details would be announced.
