Heatwave continues tomorrow, new yellow warning issued

 

The Met Office issued it’s third yellow warning of extreme temperatures in as many days, as the heatwave gripping the island is set to persist until mid next week.

The warning will come into force at ten this evening (Sunday), as temperatures will remain close to 30 inland and will be in place until six tomorrow afternoon (Monday).

40 degrees are expected inland tomorrow, reaching up to 35 in coastal regions.
