NATO chief says no plans to ship fight troops to Ukraine if Russia invades

NATO has no plans to deploy fight troops to non-NATO member Ukraine within the occasion of a Russian invasion, NATO Secretary-Basic Jens Stoltenberg stated on Sunday.

Requested on BBC Tv whether or not he would rule out placing NATO troops in Ukraine if Russia does invade, Stoltenberg stated: “We’ve got no plans to deploy NATO fight troops to Ukraine … we’re specializing in offering help.”

“There’s a distinction between being a NATO member and being a powerful and extremely valued companion as Ukraine. There’s little doubt about that.”
