Earthquake of 5.4 magnitude strikes northwest Greece, close to Florina

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 was registered in northwestern Greece late on Sunday, with no speedy stories of accidents or injury, the nation’s Geodynamic Institute stated.

The German Analysis Middle for Geosciences (GFZ) earlier reported the tremor as having a magnitude of 5.8.

“We don’t have stories for accidents or damages,” a fireplace brigade official advised Reuters.

The Greek Geodynamic Institute stated the quake struck at a depth of 14 km close to the city of Florina.
