Authorities carried out 2.767 checks over the previous 24 hours for adherence to covid measures, leading to 27 residents and 9 enterprise house owners being fined.
In Nicosia 1205 checks befell, with 13 residents and 6 companies fined, in Limassol there have been 209 checks with 4 folks fined, in Larnaca 454 checks, with two people fined, in Paphos 275 checks, with 2 residents and three companies fined and in Famagusta 330 checks had been carried out with 6 people fined.
Most residents had been fined for not carrying a protecting masks.
In 5 out of six companies in Nicosia, workers weren’t carrying a protecting masks and a supervisor didn’t have a safepass, whereas in Paphos, two out of the three companies fined the place serving purchasers on the bar in violation of related measures.
