A 21-year-old man was critically injured after falling from a roof while installing solar panels in Paphos on Tuesday, police said.
Police, in cooperation with the Department of Labour Inspection, are investigating the circumstances under which the man was seriously hurt during work.
According to initial information, the 21-year-old was installing photovoltaic systems on the roof of a building when, under circumstances that are under investigation, he fell to the ground from a height of about 11 metres.
An ambulance crew took him to Paphos General Hospital for medical examinations. Police were informed by the hospital that the man suffered a head injury and that his condition is considered critical.
Police officers visited the scene to carry out examinations.
